As creative people we all strive for continual improvement in our work. We rewrite and rework, study and critique, constantly pushing to raise the bar in our songcraft. If the guitar is one of your primary writing tools, shouldn't your guitar playing develop and evolve along with your writing?
This interactive workshop/demonstration will help give you the means to improve your playing dramatically. Most people stop improving because they stop seeing options. Dave's simple but powerful approach shows you how to find them, through both big-picture ideas and specific ways to put them to use.
Since moving to Nashville from New York City in 2005, Dave Isaacs has made his mark as one of Music City's most innovative and effective teachers - not just as a guitar instructor but as a musical coach to young artists and aspiring songwriters. He maintains a busy private guitar studio on Music Row, teaches listening skills to audio students at the Art Institute of Tennessee, and coordinates the annual Guitar Summit at Tennessee State University in addition to teaching guitar in TSU's rapidly growing Commercial Music Program.
